Pricing

I keep my pricing fair, transparent, and simple.

  • Labour: From £35 per hour

  • Materials: Charged separately at cost

Because every welding and fabrication job is different, I provide an estimate before starting any work. With some jobs – especially MOT welding – rust can often run deeper than it looks at first. If that happens, I’ll always:

  • Explain what I’ve found

  • Show you where possible

  • Update the estimate before carrying on

That way, you stay fully in the loop, and there are no unexpected surprises.

Do you charge a fixed price or hourly rate?

Most work is charged at an hourly rate of £35 per hour plus materials. For straightforward jobs I can often give a set estimate, but larger projects are usually time-based.

Why is MOT welding priced as an estimate?

Rust can be unpredictable – what looks like a small patch can sometimes spread much further once the work begins. I’ll always keep you updated if more is needed so there are no nasty surprises.

What about materials – are they included?

Labour and materials are charged separately. I only ever use quality materials, and you’ll see them itemised clearly on your estimate or invoice.

How much will it cost to fix my car, bike, or part?

It really depends on the job. Simple repairs can sometimes be done within an hour, while bigger projects or MOT welding may take longer if more work is uncovered along the way. I’ll always give you an upfront estimate, keep you updated if anything changes, and make sure the cost is fair and clear before carrying on.
